    AbstractMonitoring the development of benthic species in a area closed for human disturbance like fisheries. Every 5 years the development of marine mammals and bird species distribution will also be taking in account. The Van Veen sampler is one of the instruments used for sampling data. Whenever a part of the benthos was found not being the head or the hinge a decimal number was put as individual count in the data to prohibit that species where overseen if there were no heads or hinges.
