    AbstractThe data have been acquired with a SIMRAD EM 3000 multibeam echosounder (300 kHz) mounted on board a small boat (chief scientist F.G. Falese). The purpose of the cruise was to determine the morphological characteristics of the marine areas falling within the Montalto di Castro and Tarquinia geological sheets. Weather and marine conditions were fair during the acquisition.
