    AbstractThe data have been acquired with a KONGSBERG EM 710 (455kHz) multibeam echosounder mounted on board of the CNR research vessel "Urania" (chief scientist D. Ridente and F.L. Chiocci; party chief D. Ridente and F.L. Chiocci). The main objective of this cruise was the stratigraphy study of the upper part of the stratigraphic sequence of the Tuscan continental margin. Weather and marine conditions were fair during the acquisition.
