    AbstractThe data have been acquired with a Seabat 8111 (100 kHz) multibeam echosounder mounted on board of the CNR research vessel "Thetis" (chief scientist F.L. Chiocci and party chief R. Tonielli), within a DPC-INGV project (chief scientist F.L. Chiocci). The main objective was to monitor the submerged area around Stromboli Island.
