    AbstractFor collecting soundings the Flemish Hydrography uses acoustic sounding systems, such as “singlebeam” and “multibeam” devices. The results of these soundings are processed into survey charts, depth difference charts, volumes and cross profiles. The method used for survey and data processing is dependent on the purpose and the targeted users of the soundings.
