AbstractScientific Coordinator: Alessandro Bosman (CNR-IGAG) Party Chief: Ottavio Patulli (IIM) Partners: CNR- IGAG, IIM, CNR-ISMAR, University of Bologna (BIGEA). Abstract: This survey is part of the Ritmare project (http://www.ritmare.it/). The main objectives of the Seabed and habitat mapping research line for this project is the compilation of new maps at different scales of bathymetry and backscatter data of Northern Adriatic Sea (from Venezia to the Po River delta). By comparing existing and the newly acquired multibeam data, it was possible to achieve multi-temporal analysis and to study the morphological evolution (erosive-depositional processes) of the explored areas. Many complex morphological features has been identified related to the anthropogenic impacts, sedimentary transport and instability phenomena. These maps will become the starting point for any study or any short or long term management activity for local administrations, consortia and scientific studies.
