    AbstractData were acquired by IO-BAS in pre-drilling site survey of two areas, Galata-E and Kamchia-1 sites on the Bulgarian shelf for Melrose Recourses Sarl., Bulgaria. The expedition was carried out in the period 23-27.10.2012 onboard RV Akademik. The multi beam echosounder system RESON7111 (100 KHz) was used as a main research tool. Motion compensation was provided by MRU IXSEA Phins. Navigation was ensured by DGPS (Trimble SPS351) and precise Gyro compass. The Sound Velocity Profiles were measured by RESON SVP 15T. The soundings were processed and DTM with sell of 2 m were created for both areas.
