| Abstract | Multi beam data at Skiros Island (the southernmost of the Sporades in the Aegean Sea) acquired with R/V Aegaeo using Seabeam 2120 (20kHz) echosounder during May 2008. Geological-geophysical studies of Submarine fiber optics telecom links Artemis –Marmari, Pteleos – Trikeri, Pefkochori – N. Marmaras, Kos – Nisiros, Karpathos – Kassos route surveys. (2008) Scope of the geological-geophysical survey work is to find the best route for the installation of the submarine cable and to deliver a full study of the near-shore and offshore segments of the cable route. |
